This Privacy Policy describes how Crystal Cylinder (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use our puzzle game on the web or through our Android app (together, the “Service”).

We designed the game to work without user accounts. Most game data stays on your device. When you are online, the Android app may show ads through Google AdMob.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Data stored on your device (not sent to our servers)

The Service saves game progress and preferences locally in your browser or app storage (WebView localStorage under the key crystal-cylinder.save.v1). We do not operate a backend that receives this data. It may include:

• Level progress, high scores, and daily-challenge records
• Game settings (audio levels, mute, haptics, accessibility options, HUD scale, and similar preferences)
• Tutorial and in-game tip completion flags

You can delete this data by clearing the app’s storage (Android: Settings → Apps → Crystal Cylinder → Storage → Clear data) or by clearing site data for the web version in your browser.

2.2 Advertising data (Android app, online only)

When you use the Android app while connected to the internet, we display ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect and use information such as:

• Advertising ID (AAID on Android)
• Device type, operating system version, and language
• IP address and general location derived from IP
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
• App activity related to ad delivery (e.g. that an ad was shown)

We do not receive personally identifiable information from Google about you in connection with ads. Google processes this data under its own policies to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, and (where applicable) personalize advertising.

If you are offline, ads are not shown and this advertising data collection does not occur for ad delivery during that session.

2.3 Network access

The Android app requests network access primarily to load ads when online. Core gameplay does not require an internet connection. The app checks network status to decide whether ads may run.

2.4 Vibration / haptics

If you enable haptics in settings, the app uses your device’s vibration hardware locally. No haptics data is sent to us.

2.5 Web version — service worker (PWA)

When you play Crystal Cylinder in a supported browser, a service worker may cache game files on your device so the game loads faster and can work offline. This caching stays on your device; we do not receive the cached content.

2.6 What we do not collect

• No user accounts, email addresses, or passwords
• No precise GPS location
• No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access
• No first-party analytics or crash reporting in the current version

3. How we use information

• Local save data: to remember your progress and settings on your device
• Ad-related data (via Google): to show and measure ads in the Android app when online

We do not sell your personal information.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland:

• Local save data: processed to provide the Service you request (performance of a contract / legitimate interest in running the game on your device).
• Advertising: where required, we rely on your consent or Google’s consent framework for ad personalization. Non-personalized ads may be shown where consent is not given or ads are limited by settings.

6. Children’s privacy

Crystal Cylinder is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through ads or otherwise, contact us and we will help address it with Google where applicable.

7. Data retention

• On-device save data: kept until you clear app/browser storage or uninstall the app.
• Ad data: retained by Google according to Google’s policies. We do not hold copies of AdMob user-level data on our own servers.

8. International transfers

Google may process ad-related data in countries outside your own, including the United States, under Google’s standard contractual and compliance mechanisms.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise rights related to data we control (essentially none beyond what stays on your device), contact us at the email above. For Google/AdMob data, use Google’s privacy tools and ad settings linked in Section 4.

10. Security

Because game saves remain on your device and we do not operate a login system, there is no central account to breach. Protect your device with a screen lock and keep your operating system updated.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version at https://oyunmodu.com/crystal-cylinder/privacy-policy.html and change the “Effective date” at the top. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
