This Privacy Policy explains how Winch & Haul (“the App”) handles information when you use the game on Android. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are

2. Summary
- We do not require an account or ask for your name or email to play.
- Game progress and settings are stored on your device.
- The App shows ads via Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising data under Google’s policies and your consent choices.
- Where required, we show a consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads.
3. Information stored on your device
The App saves gameplay data locally (for example in on-device storage), such as:
- Campaign progress, scores, upgrades, badges, and settings
- Preferences (language, sound, difficulty, accessibility options)
- Temporary ad pacing data used only to limit how often ads are shown
This data stays on your device unless you clear the App’s storage or uninstall it. We do not operate a game account server that receives this progress.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App uses Google AdMob to show interstitial advertisements. Google and its partners may collect and process information to provide, measure, and personalize ads, which can include:
- Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device and app information
- Ad interaction and diagnostic data

On supported devices and regions, the App requests consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before requesting personalized ads where required. You can reopen privacy / consent options from the App’s Settings screen (“Privacy policy” / privacy options).
5. Permissions
The Android App may use:
- Internet — to load ads and related advertising services
- Advertising ID — for ad personalization and measurement (subject to your device settings and consent)
6. Children
The App is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App’s advertising partners, contact us and we will help address it with the relevant services where possible.
7. Data retention
Local game data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. Advertising partners retain data according to their own policies.
8. Your choices
- Reset or delete local progress by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling.
- Manage ad personalization in your device settings (for example, Android advertising ID / ads personalization controls).
- Use the in-app privacy options (where available) to review or change consent.

9. International processing
Advertising partners such as Google may process data in the United States and other countries. Where consent or other legal bases are required, they are handled through the consent and privacy tools described above.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
